Dr Prathap C Reddy, the founder-chairman of Apollo Hospitals, is the architect of modern Indian healthcare. He is a compassionate humanitarian dedicated to making world-class healthcare accessible and affordable for millions. He founded Apollo Hospitals in 1983, revolutionising the private healthcare industry in India by offering international quality care at a fraction of western costs. This was Apollo's first act of social responsibility and highlighted the company's commitment to social conscience.




Prof. Nirmal Kumar Ganguly is the President of Apollo Hospitals Educational and Research Foundation. He has a rich history of research and training, having served as the Director-General of the Indian Council of Medical Research, a Distinguished Biotechnology Research Professor at the Department of Biotechnology, and the President of Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research and Asian Institute of Public Health. He has over 40 years of experience, with more than 775 research papers published and 130 PhD theses supervised. His research interests include tropical diseases, cardiovascular diseases, and diarrheal diseases, as well as immunology, biotechnology, and public health. Prof. Ganguly has received numerous international and national awards, including the Padma Bhushan award in the field of medicine in 2008."

Ishita is a visionary in healthcare research and innovations. She has over 15 years of rich experience from Consulting and Mergers & Acquisitions. Ishita Shively is currently the VP for Apollo Research & Innovations (ARI), a division of Apollo Hospitals, India, where she is handling the role of vice president for Strategy & Business Development. She also handles Apollo Hospitals Educational & Research Foundation (AHERF), an entity focused on facilitating clinical research and providing academic courses in medical, nursing and allied health sciences.




With about 4 decades of rich and diverse experience in research, education and innovation, including over 2 decades of leadership roles, Ms. Jayanthi Swaminathan, Director of Clinical Operations, is a notable and creative professional. She has exceptional experience in establishing, and managing multiple sites/projects, DSIR recognized research laboratory, consulting projects, and PAN-India training programs in clinical trials. She is responsible for clinical operations for ARI and AHERF.

Dr. Manda Venkata Sasidhar is a distinguished scientist and Chief Scientific Officer at Apollo Hospitals Educational and Research Foundation (AHERF), specializing in biomarkers and personalized medicine. With 18 years of experience, he shapes research strategy, fosters innovation, and develops translational and clinical research plans. Dr Sasidhar has been instrumental in establishing AHERF's exosome biology program, expanding the extracellular vesicle (EV) portfolio, and overseeing incubational activities. He completed his post-doctoral studies at the University of California, Los Angeles, and earned his PhD from Heinrich Heine University, Düsseldorf. His research interests encompass neuroimmunology, inflammation, drug repurposing, genomics, and proteomics in Multiple Sclerosis and Lupus, with over 20 peer-reviewed journal publications and currently supervising two PM fellowships at AHERF.


AHERF has the strength of scientists with extensive experience in basic and translational research supported by Research Assistants who work on various research proposals in line with the vision and scope of AHERF.
